Horse Comments:
#9 Timayyyy (3-1) was claimed for $50k and rallied to miss by a half-length for George Papaprodromou Sept. 7, and he earned a decent late pace rating in his rallying MSW victory at this course/distance Oct. 11. His winning rider Drayden Van Dyke is a profitable 13% on turf, and he is back in less than a week and might score again.
#4 Moon Ice (5-1) moves to the Eurton barn and this is his first start since October 2024. He was part of the trifecta in five of his last six starts. He is 1-for-11 with three runner-up finishes and five show finishes at SA. The versatile gelding reconnects with Umberto Rispoli.
#5 Back Nine Stakes (6-1) improved his numbers in all four starts. This is his third start off a layoff and Hernandez strings along. He drilled a half-mile bullet for this Oct. 2 and a stalking trip is expected.
#1 Flamboyant (8-1) dropped from MSW to Mcl-50k and picked up his first win from off the pace at 8T Aug. 22. Sadler is a profitable 19% with his grads trying winners for the first time, and his winning rider Tiago Pereira should have this one saving all the ground behind honest fractions.
