Check out my Monday (10-26-26) Parx Racing Race 7 analysis below.
PRX 7 (Str-OC-25k, 3&up, 6f dirt) – Post Time 3:22 PM ET
Primary – #7 VANCOUGAR, #1 King Peanut
Secondary – #3 Complex Music, #5 Call Me Andy
Horse Comments:
#7 Vancougar (7-2) aired by 11 lengths at this distance at DMR Aug. 15 and the clear runner-up was a next-out winner. He was 5-2 in a local extended sprint on Oct. 13 and he made the running and was best of the rest in third. He cuts back to his winning distance and should impact the pace from the outside post.
#1 King Peanut (9-2) was the favorite at DEL Oct. 7 and he pressed and scored by 3 1/2 lengths under Monday’s pilot Paco Lopez. That was his first start since April and he should be forwardly placed from the inside post.
#3 Complex Music (4-1) finished in the top three in six of his last eight starts. Mike Pino is 26% first after the claim and a stalking trip is expected. He has a good overall record at six panels (14 2-5-2).
#5 Call Me Andy (3-1) competed on turf in his last pair, and all three wins were on dirt (2 wins at 6f). He is 0-for-5 with four runner-up finishes on turf, and 3-for-15 with four show finishes on fast dirt. Jamie Ness is 24% with horses moving from turf to dirt, and he projects a stalking trip under his winning rider Mychel Sanchez.
