#2 Two Eagles River (5-2) has been popular at the claim box since May. Rob Atras claimed him for $62.5k Aug. 23 and he missed by a head for his new connections Sept. 7. He was part of the exacta in his last three starts and he likes this distance (9 4-1-0). His tactical speed should lead to a comfortable trip.
#4 General Partner (2-1) finished fourth in his last two flat mile turf starts. His winning rider Flavien Prat strings along and he owns early-pressing versatility. He is 2-for-4 with a show finish at seven panels.
#3 Eliminate (9-2) had troubled beginnings in his last two below par efforts. He looked good winning at one mile June 27, and he is 1-for-7 with a trio of show finishes at this trip. His winning rider Kendrick Carmouche is 4-for-11 with Linda Rice.
