#7 Vibez (7-2) had her 4-race exacta streak come to an end when chasing and fading to 8th of 9 in the G1 Matriarch Nov. 20. She dropped in class, reconnected with her winning rider Juan Hernandez, and rallied to finish a neck behind Princesa Moche Jan. 31 (G3 Megahertz). Hernandez guided her home in the local Swingtime at this trip in October and she is 3-for-6 at this distance. A stalking trip from the outside post is expected.
#1 Thought Process (9-5) is 5-for-7 on turf and she owns early-pressing versatility. The flat mile specialist easily won a pair of flat mile turf starts as the strong favorite last year including the local G2 San Clemente. This is her first start since finishing third from post 10 in the G1 Del Mar Oaks (August 2025), and she sizzled a local 5f bullet for this Jan. 31. She reconnects with Hector Berrios ands he has guided her home multiple times.
#4 Princesa Moche(5-1) had a pace advantage in the G3 Las Cienegas at 6.5T Jan. 11 and she made the running and finished a half-length behind strong favorite Queen Maxima. She stretched back out, pressed the pace, and prevailed by a neck in the G3 Megahertz Jan. 31. She should be forwardly placed under her winning rider Mirco Demuro.
#2 Grand Slam Smile (3-1) is a quality CA-bred mare and she always finishes in the top three (17 10-6-1). She likes to win races and handles this distance, and she owns early-pressing versatility.
