#6 Parlay Charlie (7-2) makes her first start in more than half a year. She stalked the pace and hit the board in back-to-back similar local allowance races at 5.5f last October. She had a decent local half-mile move April 21 and has struck twice at this course and distance.
#4 Instigation (9-5) was part of the trifecta in her last ten starts and she won seven of those races. The 4-time local winner figures to chase the pace and her winning rider Rocco Bowen is 4-for-13 with this outfit recently. She is 1-for-6 at this trip and seems best at six panels.
#2 Saltmakeshersweet (2-1) is probably the one to catch and the 4-time local winner gets in light with 5-pound apprentice rider Jefferson Skerrett. The main concern is her lack of a recent win. She wired the field in back-to-back local races last May and June and has dropped all eight starts since.
