#4 Bitter Truth (1-1) was 3-1 in her local 6f bow vs. this kind Feb. 21 and she chased from an inner post and missed the show by a nose. She was the favorite second time out March 20 and she stalked from the outside post and was best of the rest in third, and she was third again at 5.5f April 18. Emisael Jaramillo sticks with her and she tries a route of ground.
#7 Gogotiz (2-1) dropped to a new low, returned to dirt, and set the pace and was clearly second best behind romping even money favorite Good Golly Dolly at one mile March 13 (Mcl-20k). That was her best effort since a wide 4th of 7 from the outside post in a local CA-bred Mcl-50k dirt sprint Jan. 23. She stumbled badly at the start, raced wide, and was up the track in a Mcl-20k affair April 17. I expect her to attend the pace with a clean beginning.
#5 Danzing Til Dawn (6-1) dropped from MSW to Mcl-20k and switched to dirt April 17, and she was 4th of 7 (beaten 15+ lengths). She removes blinkers and drops again.
