On the turf course, a 3-1 stalker scored at 8.5f, a 5-1 outside presser/stalker won at 5f, a closing favorite tallied at 8.5f, 6-1 front runner Proletariat kept on going to win the Oceanside by 5 3/4 lengths at one mile, and a 7-2 stalker graduated in the flat mile finale (rail at 12 feet).
Hector Berrios (turf) and Umberto Rispoli both booted home a pair. Michael McCarthy saddled three winners (2 turf routes) and Rispoli rode two.

Four wins for Emisael Jaramillo (3 dirt sprints). Kazushi Kimura also guided home four winners including three on turf. Umberto Rispoli booted home a pair. Doug O’Neill saddled four winners (3 main track maiden wins) and Jaramillo rode two. Phil D’Amato saddled two turf route winners.
